The problem
Model imagery can quickly fall into familiar visual clichés. This ongoing project continuously needs to feel dramatic and contemporary without becoming noisy, while allowing the models, magazine cover and surrounding composition to read as parts of the same editorial world.
The approach
Restricted palettes create continuity across the imagery and magazine. Large typography, close cropping, controlled retouching and carefully layered compositions give the work movement while keeping the overall presentation disciplined.
The result
A cohesive editorial with distinctive covers, yet familiar branding and supporting imagery that present the magazine - and the models - as a complete story.
